AFDC
Who is AFDC?
AFDC is a company based in India. It was founded in 1986 and is a joint venture between two Japanese companies: The Itochu Corporation and Nissin Foods. Since its foundation AFDC has specialised in the production of freeze-dried ingredients.
With two production sites, one in Cochin on the west coast of the country in the state of Kerala, and one a little further north in Bangalore in Karnataka state, the company now employs about 550 employees.

AFDC mainly produces high-quality freeze-dried products for the food industry. The company also offers high quality ingredients for the manufacturing of top cosmetics and food supplements.
The production site in Cochin specialises in seafood, and that in Bangalore produces herbs, spices, fruits, and nutraceuticals.

AFDC and Freeze-Dry Foods signed an Alliance Agreement in 19.., to establish co-operation between the two companies. AFDC manufactures high-quality Asian products that FDF sells exclusively to its customers in the food industry. The alliance between the companies ensures raw material diversity and availability for Freeze-Dry Foods and in return AFDC benefits from the worldwide sales network of FDF.
